Ideas for breaks, weekends away and excursions in MULHOUSE and the surrounding area

The first edition of Artefacts back in 1995 was hosted by the city's now legendary concert hall, La Laiterie... This now-central festival has welcomed a string of top rap, reggae and pop musicians while also working with up-and-coming performers. In 2008 the festival moved to the new Zenith in Strasbourg, with evening events at the Laiterie as well, featuring 3 or 4 artists per night. Artefacts also offers "Local Scene" ("Scènes d'Ici") evenings which aims to promote local Strasbourg artists - they can benefit from the technical, artistic and operational expertise of the Artefact Resource Centre, a definite boost for a new generation of musicians. This is a unique event which attracts over 25,000 spectators every year.
